Pleasantville boys basketball player Bobby Beier sprained his ankle against I-35 in Tuesday night’s Trojan loss. While he will be mending that injury for the time being, there is an outside chance he many not miss any games. Friday night was the final game before Christmas break for Pleasantville and with the Trojans not playing again until January fourth, Beier will have nearly two full weeks to rest his ankle without having to miss any games. Coach Tom Wilkins said after the Trojans win over Bedford on Friday, he did not play Beier for that very reason, to rest the ankle and start the healing process. Pleasantville goes into the break with a 3-3 record.
