The PCM Boys will begin play after break as the top ranked team in the state in class 2A completing a perfect 9-0 pre-holiday portion of their schedule. Coach Lorenson and the Mustangs will tip off the second half of their season against one of the other Heart of Iowa Conference favorites, Jefferson-Scranton, in Monroe. The Mustangs dropped both games with Jefferson-Scranton last year by a combined four points. The Mustangs will follow that game with a Heart of Iowa Conference match up at North Polk. PCM defeated North Polk earlier this season 44-31 in a game that Coach Lorenson described as one of the more hard fought and physical victories for his squad on the young season.
