The Marion County Engineer’s Office encourages people to drive cautiously as the weather warms then cools. Tom Wadle with the Secondary Roads Department says while roads may appear to be clear, shaded parts of roadways may still be icy.  Also, as roadways cool through the evening hours, roadways where the ice has melted may re-ice, making driving conditions hazardous.  He especially urges caution on bridges which tend to ice up sooner than roadways.
