The Christmas break is over and students will head back to school this week in Marion County with all of their snow days still available. Pella Christian High School Principal Darryl De Ruiter says that they could not have asked for a better fall this year. He adds that since they end their first semester on the last day before Christmas break, it’s already shorter than the second semester and it’s nice to be able to complete it. De Ruiter adds that last year at this time there was already three make-up days added and multiple late starts. He says even though they didn’t make it last year, their goal again this year is to get out of school before June.
