Knoxville native Caitlin Miller recently completed a semester-long internship in Washington D.C. working as a legislative intern for Senator Chuck Grassley. Miller, daughter of Leslie and Dale Miller of Knoxville, is a graduate of Iowa State University and spent the fall semester conducting research on legislative police issues and constituent requests and attending congressional hearings and briefings.

Miller says she thoroughly enjoyed her internship and the invaluable experience she gained while learning about a range of issues will undoubtedly prove to be beneficial as she pursues her goals. Grassley says Caitlin was a big asset to his team and interning on Capitol Hill is an opportunity to experience the legislative process in action.
