An unusual week for Knoxville basketball this week as the Panthers who are coming off loses to Norwalk try to put the past behind them and face Newton. This is a make up game from last Tuesday when the originally scheduled date was called off due to snow. Girls Coach Jim Utiermarkt is hoping that Friday’s frigid shooting was just a one-time thing and the girls will warm up tomorrow night. Boys Coach Clint Driftmier says the guys have to pick themselves back up after a tough night against Norwalk on Friday when they only could muster 17 points. The girls game tops off at 6:15 at Knoxville High School.
