Knoxville had the night off in basketball last night. The girls beat Newton Monday night by 11 points in a game that saw the Cardinals erase a 14 point halftime lead. However Knoxville broke open a tie game at 38 with a game-ending 16-to-five run. The boys were unable to get anything going as they lost by 24 points to Newton. Knoxville is in action next on Friday against Pella Christian.
