The PCM boys didn’t get out to their patented hot start on Friday but were still able to grind out a win over a game visiting team from Roland-Story 60-53.The Mustangs led by four after the first eight minutes but Roland-Story cut that lead to just one heading into the locker room and the lead stayed at one entering the final quarter. Early in the 4th quarter Scott Bruxvoort picked up his fourth foul and with the Mustang star on the bench PCM extended the lead to double figures to pull away for the win. Bruxvoort led the Mustangs with 20 points, Josh Fosenburg had 16 and Hutch Burns got to double figures with 10. With the victory PCM stands at a perfect 13-0 on the season 10-0 in the Heart of Iowa Conference. The #2 ranked Mustangs will be in action tonight when they step outside of conference to take on top ten ranked in class 3A Pella in Monroe.
