February is American Heart Month and Knoxville Hospital and Clinics will kick off their 6th annual Love Your Heart: A Guide to a Healthy Heart clinics today. The clinics offer a variety of quick and noninvasive heart screenings, ultra sounds and blood pressure checks to patients at a discounted rate. The events will be held at the EJ McKeever Medical Center in Melcher-Dallas Tuesday and the KHC Bell Avenue Clinic on Friday before continuing in Knoxville and Pleasantville next week. The clinics run from 6-8am and patients are asked not to eat or drink anything after midnight before coming to the events.
