Four new inductees will be added to the Knoxville High School Athletic Hall of Fame tonight.

This year’s honorees are track coach Mike Cunningham who lead the Knoxville track squad for 24 seasons and placed in the state meet nine times, multi-sport athlete and football All-American Dwayne Crozier who went on the play in the Canadian Football League, football star Mark Rowland who earned class 3A first team All State honors and was named to the elite all state squad and the 1946 indoor state track championship team made up of 10 athletes who won three events and placed in five others to dominate the competition in 1946.

The inductees, their family, friends and community members will enjoy an induction luncheon at the Lake Red Rock Cultural Center earlier in the day prior too the induction ceremony which will take place between the varsity girls and boys basketball games versus Pella. All inductees will receive a medal and permanent place in Knoxville High School athletic history.

The induction ceremonies in their entirety will be aired in their entirety on AM 1320 KNIA immediately following the girls’ game.
