Four local students will be honored for their outstanding writing skills next month. The students were selected as winners in the 2011 Three Rivers Writing Council’s Writing and Poetry Contest. Local winners are Hope Cowman in 10th grade poetry, Megan Molloy in 9th grade poetry and creative writing, Melissa Molloy in 8th grade creative writing and Scott Molloy in 7th grade creative writing. The winners will be honored in Des Monies on April 4th by the Iowa Literacy Council.
