Pleasantville’s middle distance runners on the boys track and field squad have experience this season. Coach Tim Koerselman says Chris Peden ran a :51 400 and Brian Koerselman who was just over 50 seconds. Coach Koerselman says he has two quarter-milers who will be very competitive this season. He hopes to add a couple more runners that could compete for a state championship. The Trojans will compete in class 1A this season, something that Koerselman thinks will help his team not only qualify more events but may help them win a few more state championships.
