The former church leader accused of six counts of sexual abuse has waived his preliminary hearing. Court documents show that on Wednesday March 29th Patrick Edouard waived his preliminary hearing that had been scheduled for 9:30 Friday morning. At the same time, Edouard’s passport was sealed in an envelope by court order. Waiver of the hearing is not an admission of guilt, but rather acknowledgement that there is probable cause to go to trial.
