The Knoxville Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting a fundraiser this spring to try and raise money for things like field trips, classroom supplies and playground equipment. Instead of going door-to-door selling materials, Knoxville Elementary students are contacting their loved ones and gathering pledges for a Spell-a-thon. On today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville, PTO President Dave Garcia speaks with Samantha Smith about the fundraiser and why it’s a beneficial event for all involved.
