Though they carded their best nine-hole score of the spring, the Pella girls were unable to overcome the home course advantage held by Lynnville-Sully in a triangular that also included Pella Christian at the Diamond Trail Golf Course.
The Hawks shot a school-record 176 to take first place; 12 strokes ahead of the Lady Dutch. Pella Christian shot a combined score of 202, led by individual runner-up Meredith Fopma’s round of 43.
Lynnville-Sully’s Amy Rolffs took medalist honors with a 38. Shelby Williams led the Pella girls for the second straight meet, carding a 44.
