Pleasantville backed up its Pride of Iowa Conference girl’s golf title from earlier in the week with an 86 stroke thumping of Wayne in a triangular yesterday. I-35 was exactly 100 strokes behind the Trojans, and Melcher-Dallas did not have enough players to have a score. Pleasantville’s team score was 168, just four strokes off of the school record. Ashley Jahner was medalist with a 39 and Kaitlyn Friday was runner-up with a 41. Melcher-Dallas’s Jordan Marino shot a 74.
