Many visitors to Pella’s Tulip Time also find their way over to Knoxville for a visit, according to Knoxville Chamber Board President Todd Chambers. Chambers says that Tulip Time is beneficial to Knoxville in a variety of ways. One is the direct impact as the visitors shop in Knoxville, and other is the economic impact for the citizens that work or have small businesses in Pella. According to Chambers, Knoxville has a lot to offer visitors during Tulip Time–many great merchants, restaurants, a new brewery, and the Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. He adds that events like Tulip Time and the Knoxville Nationals have a broad impact beyond the barriers of our communities and it is important that we work together and support these local events.
