Kayla’s Kause, named after Prairie City native Kayla Boner, who died from complications of E. coli in 2007, has announced a walk-a-thon to bring awareness to the dangers of food borne illness. The Walk 2 Stop 4 Kayla will take place at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge in Praire City Saturday June 25th. Proceeds will to the STOP Foodborne Illness campaign, begun in 1993 by families and victims of E. coli outbreaks.
