The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame is holding its 22nd annual Induction Banquet this Saturday. This year’s class includes 13 new members. Among those being inducted is Andy Granatelli, who is known as “Mr. 500” for his performances at the Indianapolis 500; Danny Lasoski, who just won his 95th feature race at the Knoxville Raceway this past Saturday; and Jimmy Boyd, the winner of the first World of Outlaws race in 1978. The banquet starts at noon with a dinner, and events lead right up into the races Saturday night. Tickets are available at the Hall of Fame, or you can order them over the phone at 641-842-6176.
