As every year during the national sprint car hall of fame inductions, many dignitaries come for the event. One that will be in town for the ceremonies this year is three time Indy 500 winner and past Hall of Fame inductee Bobby Unser. Unser says the Knoxville Raceway is the number one dirt track in the nation. He adds the reason, Iowans just love their racing. Unser is in Knoxville to attend the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies tomorrow. He was inducted in 1997 but was unable to attend. He and his bother Al and Al’s son Al Jr. have won a combined nine Indianapolis 500s. Unser will also watch tonight’s Masters Classic and 360 regular show. You can hear the live coverage starting tonight at six with Live Track Side and Race Night’s Live on KNIA/KRLS also streamed live at kniakrls.com.
