The 9th annual KNIA/KRLS Golf Classic is in the books. The golf classic was held at Bos Landen Golf course Tuesday. Teams were competing for their share of the $1,000 prize money.
The hot and windy day proved to be challenging for all groups which created some higher than normal scores, but also proved to be just what several teams needed to be successful.
First place in the second place flight consisted of Randy, Tom, Dee & Dominick Clarke.
First place in the in the first place flight was the team of Bob Wims, Jamie Hollingshead, Kevin Wadle and Mel Suhr with a score of 6 under par.
First place in the championship flight was the team of Travis Thompson, Shawn DeWaard, Scott Alberts and Wade Van Vark with a score of 55 or 17 under par.
KNIA/KRLS wants to thank all of the businesses that sponsored this year’s tournament and extend a thank you to all of this year’s tournament players. Plans are under way for next year’s event.
