The Pella City Council met in regular session last night. The agenda was revised and shortened due to problems assembling a quorum.
Councilman Vander Beek participated by phone in order to take care of more routine items such as closing streets for Thursdays in Pella and the upcoming Harley Owners Group Rally.
The Council also approved a contract for a new filtration system at the indoor pool and approved bids for materials for the southeast switching station. Council also approved ward boundary changes as per Iowa law following last year’s census.
Tonight, the Council will meet in special session to discuss a resolution for power supply and transmission agreements and an agreement to enter into the Missouri Basin Municipal Power Agency.
That meeting will take place at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of the Public Safety Complex
