Author and Iowa school preservationist Bill Sherman will lead a program about Iowa country school milestones next week in Pella. The program will review important dates and people who were influential in country schooling throughout Iowa and the nation. Attendees are encouraged to share their experiences in country schools and bring along any photos, diaries, certificates or other related items. Sherman is a Co-Founder of the Country School Association. The program is Wednesday, June 22nd at 2 pm at Fair Haven East.
