The Knoxville Softball Squad for the second straight week went one-and-one in a Saturday invitational. The Panthers lost to class 4A number nine Davenport West 6-0 but came back to beat P-C-M 1-0 at the Indian Invitational at Oskaloosa. The Mustangs would finish the day 0-2 after also falling to Eddyville-Blakesburg 5-2. Knoxville hosts South Tama tonight to begin a three-game home stand which is only third home game of the season for the Panthers. Knoxville pounded the Trojans 11-1 back on June third. Coach Steph Christner says right now the girls just need to believe that they can pick up wins and play well. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 KNIA tonight staring at around 7:30.
