Marion County dodged another round of severe weather on the final evening of spring last night. Today marks the beginning of summer, the longest day of the year and if it feels like we’ve had nearly a season’s worth of rain, that’s because we’ve already broken precipitation records for this date. To date, the Pella Knoxville area has recieved 11.35 inches of rain–a record. The record total for the entire month of June is 13.8 inches and was set last year.
