Several gardens around Pella will be featured in a garden tour this weekend. The Gateway to Hope Garden Tour will benefit week long arts camps in Nicaragua.
Carol Van Klompenburg, one of the event’s organizers, says it will offer a chance to see and learn about some beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, and adds there will be activities for the kids as well.
In addition to the garden tours, Saturday the 25th will see a garden tour tea, a retail shop, information about the Nicaraguan children’s arts camps, and supervised children’s lawn games offered at Faith Church Community Gardens.
