A two-car accident on Highway 5 south of Attica resulted in a garbage truck on its side. At approximately 11:15 Friday, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a collision between a garbage truck with Lucas County plates and a pickup truck with Missouri plates. The accident took place near 185th Place on Highway 5. The garbage truck blocked one lane of traffic for over an hour before it was removed. Indiana Township Fire & Rescue, Knoxville Fire & Rescue, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office have responded to the scene. No injuries have been reported. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
