Weekend travelers should be on the lookout for road buckling and pavement blowups in the area. Some County roads have experienced buckling at road joints following extreme heat in the triple digits over the past couple days. Pella Public Works Director Denny Buyert says they haven’t seen any buckling in Pella yet, but couldn’t rule it out as a possibility.
