Two 20-year-old Knoxville men facing separate sexual abuse charges both pled guilty in Marion County District Court Friday morning.
Jamie DeHeer of Knoxville was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to lascivious acts with a child.
Richard Jones, Jr., of Knoxville, pled guilty to third-degree sexual abuse Friday morning. Jones was arrested in April for having sex with a 15-year-old girl. Jones will be sentenced Friday, August 19 at 9:30 am.
The arraignment for Jeremy Smith, of Centerville has been continued until next Friday. Smith has been charged with 2 counts of homicide by vehicle and one count of serious injury by vehicle after a car accident in June of 2010.
