Construction continues around Central College. Earlier this year, a beautification project began that includes new parking and entry areas along University Street, and three new entry monuments at different intersections around campus.

Mike Lubberden, Facilities Planning and Management Director at Central says heavy rains late in the spring made staying on schedule difficult, but they are planning to have the new parking lot south of University finished by the time classes begin in a few weeks.

He anticipates the monuments will be finished by the 1st of September.

Opening Convocation at Central is August 25th.
