After a week of camp, and a few official practice days things are starting off well for the Knoxville Football squad. Head Coach Troy Rider says the guys are working hard and picking up the offense and defensive schemes much quicker than last season, plus he says the players are in much better condition physically than at this time last season. Knoxville went to the Central College camp a few weeks ago and did very well. Rider says they scrimmaged against some of the teams in their district like A-D-M and Carlisle, and ran the ball well. He adds some players are being held out of practice because of injuries and other issues. Rider is hopeful that everyone will be back when the season starts august 26th against P-C-M.
