Pella native Jerry Lanser announced his candidacy for president Friday night at Pella Christian High School. He brings a common sense approach to solving the nation’s economic problems. Lanser spoke to a crowd of about 30 and during a half hour speech, explained his plans for tax, immigration and health care reform. The 61 year old self-employed electrician says his campaign is in the lord’s hands, and if the money doesn’t come in, it could be a short run.
