The volleyball season is a little over a week away and at Knoxville, the excitement level for the upcoming season is reaching a fever pitch. Coach Eric Fee says many of the returning girls are completely different players from last year. He is especially pleased with the energy in practice, adding that he has been telling the girls to create their own excitement. He says if they do that, then other members of the team will feed off of that excitment. He adds much of the work has been on serve/receive and passing. While Fee does not have a top six established yet, he will know a little more about his team when they travel to a scrimmage Saturday at Eddyville-Blakesburg. Knoxville starts the 2011 season August 29th at Chariton.
