Businesses all over the state will be leading an effort to make Iowa number one in health, including some here in Pella. Pella Hy-Vee Store Director Scott Johnson says the initiative is meant to bring awareness to the importance of exercise and a healthy diet. A “Start Somewhere” walk is planned for October 7th. A committee of local business leaders is meeting to finalize details on the walk and other activities. Currently, Iowa ranks 19th in the nation in overall health.
