Construction has started on the new Indiana Township Fire Station in Attica. The old fire station was destroyed by a tornado that struck Attica in May 2008. That tornado measured as an EF 2 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, meaning it contained winds of 111-135 miles per hour. Hanson Construction of Clear Lake is in charge of constructing the new fire station. KNIA/KRLS News will bring you more details as they become official.
