Recently, the Midwest One Foundation of Midwest One Bank donated $10,000 to the Prairies for Agriculture Program at Central College.

Russ Benedict, Associate Professor of Biology says the program seeks to find out if diversifying prairie grasses in areas that can’t be farmed will be beneficial to the local environment and in what ways.

Margaret Rattcliff, a Vice President at Midwest One says the Foundation contributes to projects that contribute to the long term betterment of the community, adding this is a study that will help put Central on the map.
