Different football coaches have different styles to motivate their teams. Knoxville Coach Troy Rider this season is asking various members of the Knoxville community to give the pre-game speech at the team meal before each game. This past Friday Former Coach and Athletic Director Mike Cunningham talked about playing in the moment, and also shared thoughts on being a teammate to Ken Locke, who Knoxville home stadium is named after. Rider says the coaching staff could make the pre-game speech, but he says hearing it from someone in the community hopefully will get the players motivated for each game. The Panthers host district favorite A-D-M this Friday. Rider says the Tigers will come in with a pass-happy style offense led by one of the best quarterbacks in the state.
