A Des Moines man was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for manufacturing less than five grams of methamphetamine. Robert Estes was arrested in February after he was pulled over south of Knoxville on Highway 14 during a traffic violation. Marion County Court Documents say that after Estes was pulled over, he appeared nervous and shaky. He was found to be in possession of a needle that had white substance in a needle. That substance later tested positive for meth. Estes had originally pled not guilty in March, before pleading guilty later in the year.
