Iowa artist Sarah Grant will be speaking at the Red Rock Arts Alliance meeting this week. Grant is the founder of Sticks Furniture and Object Art, which is a company in Des Moines that designs personalized accessories, ranging from ornaments and candle sticks to dining sets and beds. When she founded Sticks in 1992, she was the only person in the studio. She now employs over 100 people. Grant will speak about her career as an artist, and give the story of her business. The meeting is at Peace Tree Brewery this Wednesday from 7-9 pm.
