For any kid in high school, homecoming week is one of the top weeks during the school year. For the football players it is doubly important since there is a home game to play in front of which will have a little more than the normal amount of fans. Knoxville coach troy rider has been pleased with how the kids of conducted themselves and thinks the kids are ready for the big night on Friday. Among the activities that remain on the schedule for this week, are the annual homecoming pep rally and the announcement of the homecoming queen and court at Ken Locke Stadium tonight and the parade tomorrow afternoon at three. Also, before kickoff of the game tomorrow the time capsule from the now removed old junior high building will be opened plus the Pillar Player inductions and Knoxville will also honor the undefeated 1975 team and the 1990 squad which was the most recent Panther football team to make the postseason.
