KNIA/KRLS held the first of their two Breast Cancer Save a Life Radiothons Tuesday evening. The Big Red Radio broadcasted live from Knoxville Hospital and Clinics as breast cancer survivors shared their stories on the air and doctors gave prevention tips. The public also took part, signing up for door prizes and taking a tour of the hospital’s new digital mammography machine.
