Stumo told KNIA/KRLS News he’s been watching the growing economic inequality in America for most of his adult life and sees the current time as similar to the time of Robber Barons in the late 19th century.
“Vanderbuilt, Rockefeller, Carnegie, these were not nice people”, Stumo said. “Why are the people on top trying to emulate them?”

Stumo also participated in the Occupy Des Moines protests over the weekend. Tune in to In Depth with Dr. Bob Leonard Thursday at 8am and 1pm to hear all of Stumo’s thoughts on the Occupy Movement.
