A Knoxville man has been arrested and charged with 1st Degree Robbery. 51-year-old Donald Reece is now in custody after he allegedly attempted to hold up the Kum N Go on East Main Street in Knoxville late Friday night. Sources tell KNIA/KRLS news that Friday night, Reece allegedly came into the store armed, forcing the clerk outside before he fled to the wooded area to the north of the store near the bridge over the railroad tracks. The Knoxville Police Department investigated the incident, and the Iowa State Patrol assisted on the search for Reece.
