As October starts winding down, the agritourism season is coming to an end. Dan Dennison at Dan-D Farms says that overall, it’s been a pretty good year. He says his sweet corn crop was lower than normal, but he had no trouble selling what he had. Dan-D Farms’ corn maze remains open until October 30th. John and Joy Pierce, with Pierce’s Pumpkin Patch, say that the pumpkins and squash this year are in excellent shape. They comment that the nice weather has brought a lot of people out, and that they’ll continue to be open until the end of October as well.
