An official from Health and Human Services will be in Knoxville this week to help explain to seniors what the new health care law means for them. Regional Director Judy Baker will speak Thursday at 10am at the Marion County Senior Nutrition Site in Knoxville. Baker will address some of the myths and facts about the Affordable Care Act and its impact on the senior community. Senior Nutrition Program Manager Dawn Allspach asks that seniors call to make a reservation at 828-2238. She says she would like to see a lot of people come, learn, and then spread the word on what they’ve learned with others.
