A busy day is on tap for many on Friday as officials from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs are in town. At 10am, the City Council meets in special session with those VA representatives, as well as members of the Knoxville Veterans’ Alliance. At 6pm Friday, a town hall meeting will take place on the second floor of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. James Washington and Aubrey Wilson, with the Knoxville Veterans’ Alliance, will discuss their thoughts, plans, and the process that lies ahead. The public is encouraged to come and discuss their thoughts and concerns and ask questions.
