Knoxville Mayor Don Zoutte says that the repopulation of the VA is the top concern of his as he runs for reelection this fall. Zoutte says the city will work to continue to improve city services such as fire, police, and others in order to help support that repopulation. He says that the city has done a good job of cleaning up. He cites a grant that the city recently received to help purchase and tear down more than 20 run-down properties.
