Democratic candidate Megan Suhr formally announced her campaign for the Iowa House District 28 yesterday afternoon in front of the Marion County Courthouse. Suhr spoke in front of a crowd of her family, friends, and supporters. She spoke about her background growing up on a family farm in Southeast Iowa, her work at the Iowa State Capitol, and laid out the plans for her campaign. Suhr says that she plans do some home events before hitting the campaign trail hard after the first of the year.
