The Knoxville Civil Services Board will be meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 to interview candidates for the open lieutenant position. A lieutenant position became vacant after current lieutenant Darrell Brown told Police Chief Dan Losada he would like to step down from the position. Losada says Brown will stay on as a patrol officer. Losada adds that after meeting with the Civil Services Board, the two candidates will also have additional interviews with him. He says that they will hope to have the position filled by the first of December.
