A two vehicle accident occurred at approximately 5PM on Highway 163 in the eastbound lane near the Clark Street exit south of Pella. The Pella Fire Department, Pella Ambulance, the Pella PD, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene where a Toyota sedan and a Two Rivers Cooperative vehicle pulling an anhydrous ammonia tank apparently collided. One tire of the Two Rivers vehicle was damaged, and the Toyota apparently rolled and appeared totaled. The Two Rivers vehicle otherwise appeared undamaged, and the tank intact.
